Commissioning a Quilt:

I can make you a wall hanging or bed sized quilt to your specifications.  Any size, palette or design.  I enjoy working with individuals and have the motto “to serve.”  The customer must be completely satisfied by the finished work. I am happy to meet each individuals specific needs and work with interior designers. I will make every consideration to keep pricing reasonable.  

I am not able to offer “discounts.” Each job is unique and takes as much time as it takes.  I bid each job based on how much time I estimate it will take, plus materials - and then set the price. Most times I underestimate the amount of time (inspiration is not always so prompt or considerate,) but this additional time  is never passed on to the customer.

Please browse the site and note the name or palette of the design that interests you.  For wall pieces I suggest taping up some newspaper on the prospective wall until the size looks right.  Measuring this can become the working dimensions for starting a piece.  For more information or to see more images please e-mail me.

Once you have selected the design and palette I will send you a drawing of the quilt with fabric swatches.  Along with this I will send a detailed letter describing the design and use of color.

I require a 50% deposit to start the project with the balance paid when I am ready to ship. I will charge only the actual cost of shipping - whichever carrier you prefer. Production time will vary.  Allow 3-12 weeks from the time I receive your deposit.  

Pricing will vary depending on the size, complexity of the design, and how the piece is finished (i.e. hand or machine quilted.)  Small works start around $150. and a queen sized quilt will start at $2400.
